Jewelry tips for your wedding dress

Once you have chosen your wedding dress, you'll want to start thinking about the wedding jewelry that best suits the chosen dress. Always choose the dress before the jewelry, as your jewelry must serve as a decorative element to your dress, do not overwhelm or compete with it.

If you are planning a very ornate sequined dress, or a long veil, you will not need much jewelry. A simple strand of pearls that hug the neck should do the trick. Maybe a set of pearl earrings would be nice too. Avoid dangling earrings as they will compete with the brightness of her dress. Also avoid long necklaces and ornate your dress has enough ornaments that make them unnecessary.

Choose just the pieces that make you feel glamorous and leave the rest for someone else. If your dress is very flat, like a sheath dress, you have the perfect canvas to start. A necklace sparkles and shines is perfect. All attention will be drawn to your face.

If you like big jewelry, big jewelry go with. Go bold but tasteful. Stick to a color of white metal, yellow or rose gold, and then mix and match from there. If you like rubies, why not use them? Any color of the gemstone is appropriate these days.

The pearl necklace is now very fashionable.

Jewelry is the most personal part of your wedding dress. It can convey what you really are and give your guests a sense of taste.
